Perhaps a bit overdue, but just want to send out a truly heartfelt and grateful welcome to all my new subscribers. I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek at the chapter from Her Shining Eyes, and the glimpses into my crazy life through my blog posts.
I also hope you’ve recognized my heart, which is to show you the authentic “me” and draw you toward considering authenticity for yourself. I know many of you are ahead of me on that particular path, which is awesome. I need you!
This week’s post is brief, I know. And that brevity is also about being authentic. I’ve been in Iowa all week, saying good-bye to a dear soul, my cousin’s husband, Mark Trusty, and standing strong with my family here as they and we grieve well his death and celebrate his courageous life.
I’m drained, so my words are few.
May your time with family bring peace to their grieving and rest to their souls. How precious a time it is to spend with those who say goodbye to a loved one.
Thanks for the blessing. The time was truly precious.
