How often can we give a life-changing book by a multi-published author WHOM WE KNOW PERSONALLY to friends on the other side of the earth?
I’ll make this short and sweet. If you haven’t read “Same Kind of Different As Me” then you are missing one of the BEST memoirs of the decade. Yes, I know the decade has just begun, but no one will top it. Reads like a novel, opens your eyes, breaks your heart, then patches it back up again. KUDOS to Lynn Vincent who collaborated with the authors. Sorry I missed meeting her at Mount Hermon this year. My bad. I could have learned SO MUCH from this extremely talented and successful writer.
Plain Pursuit By Beth Wiseman As an avid fiction reader, I was eager to read and review Plain Pursuit. Early on, I regretted my decision when I realized it was an Amish “romance”—not the type of novel I typically enjoy. Nevertheless, I had agreed to read it in its entirety and offer my feedback.
