Posted the newest version of our itinerary this morning. I think this one will stick. (LOL)
Last night I had such a privilege to witness the musical gift of Russian pianist Andrei Gavrilov. Considered the best in Russia…and I can see why. I’m still stunned with his performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto #1. Actually, stunned is an understatement. Maybe you can try to find a You Tube of him and see and hear what we saw from the third row.
Bernhard says
Andrei Gavrilov is one of the greatest pianists, I think not only greatest pianist of Russland, but of the world.
Puchjok has put several recordings of him on youtube, e.g.:

Best wishes, Bernhard

I have a suggestion…………..a Russia Cookbook would be a great way to make miney for the Ministry. I for one would buy from your pictures.

Andrei Gavrilov and the orchastra gave me chill bumps. I’m so glad it was available to listen to on youYube. We can’t taste the food, but what a banquet for the ears and the soul. I keep playing it over and over. If you shut your eyes the music can take you anywhere you want to go.
So beautiful.
