The gathering last night with the English students of Nina Alexandrovna featured food, food, food and lots of questions and conversation in English. We covered the swine flu…Obama’s first 100 days…winter in California (what winter?) the economic crisis, comparisons of our legal and dental care systems…and much more inbetween. In between bites, that is. Take a look at the table below…so much food there was little room for our plates and tea cups. Nina always spreads joy and acceptance. She loves her work and those to whom she shares her adoration of English. My doggy-bag breakfast awaits me.
By the way – a big THANK YOU to everyone who is leaving comments and for all the well-wishes on my birthday. One of these days ???? I’ll be able to respond properly.
Today I’ll be at Alla’s boarding school lesson and then to watch a synchonized swimming competition.
Good thing I brought clothes with elastic waistbands. Wish I could share all of this fun and yummy fellowship with all of you!

From the looks of the table contents you and I and Honey will be doing some dog “waddles” when you come home. We walked by your house last night and it seems to be still standing!
