We’re heading north now to Diamond Lake, Oregon. Had fun with baby Elliana tonight!
Guests…the invited and the uninvited
Another new lesson…be careful what you ask for! We had a great day yesterday with my brother, Jim, and his wife, Kathy. Of course, they were the invited guests. This morning at 6:30 we woke up to a houseful of the uninvited variety. Tiny black 6-legged (I think) nuisances traveling caravan style across the bedroom walls and floors. GRRRRRR. Ants are one of God’s precious creature, this I know. But they drive me bonkers. So my day started with a systematic ethnic cleansing of our RV. If any of you are PETA members, please turn a blind eye. Here are…
Entertaining RV style
Lots of smiles as we entertained my parents and sister for a bbq’d hamburger lunch. We enjoyed giving a tour of our home on wheels and showing off all its luxurious functions. So…we still need a sewer hose extension and a cable TV coax cable to complete our “full hook up” environment. A trip to Radio Shack should do it for the latter. I think the office here sells…
What’s wrong with this picture?
This is a shot out the front window as we entered what So Cal natives call the “LA Basin.” A couple of you will recognize the off ramp. It’s the one that Iwould take to get to my childhood home in Reseda. But we didn’t go there. No, we kept right on truckin’ through traffic like this and worse. Some better. But what do you notice here? Do you see ANY other RVs? No. And neither did we. Not a single one after we left the beach cities of Santa Barbara and Ventura. Somebody knows a better route to…
